John’s latest collaborations include the new single by Kristine W entitled "I’ll Be Your Light" scheduled for released soon on Tommy Boy Records. She is currently enjoying her 9th straight #1 dance single making her the first artist to have that distinction. We are hoping that "I’ll Be Your Light" will be a crossover single and move Kristine W into the Top 40. The single is climbing up all the Dance Charts (Sales, Club play and Radio Airplay and are #17,#17,#19, respectively as of 1/28/06.

Dirty Dancing: The Play, opened in Australia on November 16, 2004. The musical includes “I’ve Had The time Of My life” , “Hungry Eyes” and also a new song entitled “Someone Like you” which was written for the stage production. The show has also opened in Hamburg , London and Toronto and become the highest advance sales in West End Theater history. This March ‘08, will see an opening of the play in Holland and Chicago it is opening in Sept ‘08.

Dirty Dancing, Havana Nights was released in the theaters and it featured the theme of “I’ve Had The Time of My life” 6 times during the movie. It was used as underscoring in various scenes.

Hungry Eyes has reemerged in the form of a hit dance tune in the U.K. Eyeopener has scored a hit with a remake of the song and landed at #16 on the top 40 chart in England. Along with the song comes a quirky video involving two spritely fairies. Check it out at www.aatw.com

EMI Canada Recording artist Amanda Stott, is recording John’s song “Getting There” co-written with frequent collaborator Patty Maloney and Andrew Fromm whose credits include Mark Anthony and the Backstreet Boys. Amanda’s record will be released on Virgin Records in the US. Also recording this song is Japanese artist Miho Fukuhara for Sony Music Records. It will be released in 2008.

Country star Jeannie Kendall of the Kendalls has recorded “Shouldn’t Still Shake Me”, a song John co-wrote with Nashville singer songwriter Shevy Smith. Look for Jeannie’s new record to come out on Rounder Records in a few months.

John continues to produce and work with new undiscovered talent. He is currently working with and producing “Le Rug” having produced two cd’s with them. He’s hoping she has the same success as Maroon 5, an early discovery and production of John’s when they were called Kara’s Flowers.

And for all you baseball fans, Bernie Williams - the center-fielder for the NY Yankees - has recording one of John’s songs which he wrote with Patty Maloney entitled “The Way”. Bernie is a great guitarist and the album has other collaborators such as Reuben Blades and Bela Fleck. It is released on Verve Records.

Steve Holy who had last years long standing #1 hit “Good Morning Beautiful Day” has recorded the John DeNicola/Franke Previte penned song “You’re The Only One” which is in the Sylvester Stallon/Madelene Stowe movie entitled Avenging Angelo and coming out on the new CD on Curb Records.
